Sunroof - aftermarket
#1
Anybody fitted a sunroof to their Impreza and can recommend a good company? Seriously thinking of getting one fitted, just a simple tilt / remove job but must be fairly flush fitting. My dealr doesn't know anything about fitting one and I know that a pukka Subaru one will be very expensive.
Would also like good/bad comments on them. I do have a/c but it really dehydrates you on a reasonable journey and windows down on a nice fresh morning is a real pain. I know body stiffness will suffer but only a tiny amount?
Cheers

The compapy Hollandia Sunroofs have always been recommended to me. Subaru Greece use them, Subaru Australia use them and Subaru Netherlands use them. I don't have contact details for them though.

Are you going to keep your car untill you scrap it?
If so.....go ahead and get a hole cut into the roof.
But if your thinkin of selling it......dont coz no one will want to buy it!
I had one fitted to a 309 GTI cost £700 the best of the best at the time, electric, slide and tilt, tinted great!untill i tried to sell the car,no one wanted to know, including dealers.

I wouldn't bother. I fitted a Webasto sunroof to an Allegro in 1975. The bugger wouldn't shut properly and when it rained the dye from the brown PVC ran down the beige paintwork looking like the car had been submerged in the nearest sewage treatment plant. Don't do it to such a fine motor car young man......Blutes
