AVCS heads, big benefit over wrx??
got my wrx blob on 351bhp atm, wanting more power ive just got hold of a solid sti scd bottom end, i was planning to keep my wrx heads on and just swap over the bottom ends, but just wondering will i see a big benefit from the avcs heads? and what else would i need to fit them,i.e wiring etc?? and a rough cost of the parts?

Hi there
Big benefit you will see when you will be going with bigger turbo,on smaller turbo you will see benefit too in spool up and better top end
Yes you will need wiring(from STI or custom) plus ECU which can control AVCS,yours ECU can't control AVCS and due this you will need JDM WRX ECU or aftermarket ECU(Syvecs I would choose)

Thanks for that! Didn't realise I would have to change ecu too, will have a look into costs then,I'm not lookin for crazy power,400 or close will be fine! Hoping not to change my afp 18g so will probably see 380/90 I hope. So is there any point doing it at this power level?
