Default hurst cars......anybody used them?

just wanted some feedback on these as they always seem to have a few scoobs in stock,im looking at getting rid of the blobeye and getting a 2-door type r/p1

Had 2 cars and a 6 speed box of maks, nice guy and all his cars seem pretty decent.

He does indeed. When I emailed him offering a *possible* part ex he emailed me back saying no in such a way it closed the deal for me. Heard good things otherwise though.

Maks is a top chap, ive dealt with him many times.

Also, you wont regret swapping the ferry for a type r.

looking to strip the porsche brakes off the blob and maybe the sti engine throw a wrx lump in it and a set of wrx brakes and sell it on then get a 2door and keep my sti lump as a spare and possibly rebuild it and throw a set of avcs heads on it

been down pr developments alot filling my head with ideas

i might not use them but they have the most choice in 2 doors around other than going to sva imports which i have heard very bad things about

need to get my thinking cap on

I picked my Type R up from Max in January. I originally wanted a different one (not that there's anything wrong with mine!) I just saw one cheaper but I missed it by a day or two. Max seems to sell his cars very quickly so if you see something you like, pick up the phone and give him a call otherwise chances are you'll miss out.

My car was completely as described. Max went round the car with me and pointed out any blemishes. There was a tiny pin dent on the rear quarter that I hadn't spotted but he made sure I knew it was there. It's since been to Carnetix for an oil change and a general check over and Glen and Becky have given it a clean bill of health. It's as clean underneath as it is on top.

So yeah, I know I can't speak for everyone but in my experience buy with confidence.

how much did you pay if you dont mind me asking? that is gorgeous (apart from the wheels but i dont really like that style)

Ive bought a couple off Max hes a decent chap, first was a 2005 wide track sti 2 owners 21k miles, I sold it after a year to free up some funds.
