I picked my Type R up from Max in January. I originally wanted a different one (not that there's anything wrong with mine!) I just saw one cheaper but I missed it by a day or two. Max seems to sell his cars very quickly so if you see something you like, pick up the phone and give him a call otherwise chances are you'll miss out.
My car was completely as described. Max went round the car with me and pointed out any blemishes. There was a tiny pin dent on the rear quarter that I hadn't spotted but he made sure I knew it was there. It's since been to Carnetix for an oil change and a general check over and Glen and Becky have given it a clean bill of health. It's as clean underneath as it is on top.
So yeah, I know I can't speak for everyone but in my experience buy with confidence.
