A safe bhp to play with before forging???
hey guys soon to get an impreza wrx, i gather from most of the stock wrx's they come with 215bhp (correct me if im wrong)
Now with this in mind if joe bloggs decides he wants to play around with the car get a new exhaust air filter etc, what type of bhp can he get out of the car before its time to start forging thing, I do have a figure in my as when i had once owned an evo the gent i had got it off said it was running 300 bhp and he had got everything forged,
So would i be right in saying 300+ bhp is the time to start forging pistons etc??

I'm currently running 345 / 349 on my 2004 wrx wagon, engine has just turned 100k too. No problems in the last year or so apart from split top mount. Gearbox is the weak link apparently but mine has been fine.
