Basically a spec d is more refined, leather seats, small spoiler, more sound deadening etc etc

It's essentially a sti just made more subtle. No High rear spoiler but a low line boot lip, front fogs, leather seats and from memory black brembos instead of gold, More sound deadening and i think that was it. Could be wrong but I'm sure someone will be a long to correct me

This sums it up

How do people find the leather in the spec D? Improvement over the standard blue cloth?

The brembos are gold, just the same as the standard STi.

Best thing is when someone mistakes it for a WRX.

I find the leather fine in my Spec D. As it's perforated, there is a pretty strong smell of leather as you get in.

It's the first thing that hit me when I sat in the one I ended up buying.
I'm a smoker, but the car has never been smoked in by previous owners, that I do know. And I would never smoke in it either.

The leather is soft and well sewn, but personally for me, I find the base of the drivers seat a bit narrow.

I bought the car from a guy in Scotland, and by the time I got back down here to Aldershot in Hampshire.....boy did I know I'd done a long journey!
