insurance for a 20 year old
Hello all, i am looking into buying a subaru impreza sti and was wondering wether i can get insurance for under £2k i currently have 3 years no claims and own a ford focus rs mk2 with the mp350 mod kit. I love the car but payments for the car are too great.

Welcome
Tbh with you, most insurers wont insure any under 25 on an STI though a wrx may be an option, you can try the insurance section but I doubt you will have any luck due to your age

give Keith Micheals a ring, if they can't get you the best price don't bother ringing anyone else.

mp350 is seen as another car buy insurers seen as standard =/
Im 22 and got insured on the scoob for £700 fully comp with mods declaired (not alot anyway, just suspension and ARB's) where as my old FRS only had exhaust and air filter and was 900 so you may be able to... worth a ring around.... im with admiral so maybe worth trying them.....
If it fails buy a mk1 FRS better drivers car than the mk2....

The RS seems a very cheap car In comparison to an Sti as at 20 I concidered one as insurance was doable at £1500 but I couldn't get touched on an sti till 21 hence why I waited

considering i did 1300 miles last year and its pretty much permanently locked in a private garage, id still expect more, however u play the hand ur dealt and that was the best i found

You live in Accrington Ste, thats why it costs you more considering im about 5 miles from you and paying 600 quid fully comp protected on my spec c, you need to shop around (but i am older than you )
