Default Need a hydraulic press

Evening all

As per my title I need a hydraulic press. Was trying to get bushes out with my vice and that didn't go well so I need a press.

Anyone recommend one? What tonne do I need if I only plan to use it for bushes etc? 6 tonne enough?

Thanks!!
Adam

How often will you use the press? May be take them to a garage who has a press and slip them a few beer tokens to use it? Save you buying one if It will see little use

Another way of doing it is to set fire to the bush not the best way granted but it works, have seen it done many times when a press is not to hand

I was going to do it one bush at a time so I can put it back together.

It won't see much use but would be useful to have.....can lend it out for beer tokens then lol

Would 6 tonne do it? Thanks!!

For smaller bushes I would imagine 6 tonne to be ok with a decent press, when I say decent I mean not a few quid off eBay as it may say 6 tonne but it won't exhert that much in reality.

I have had bearings in a floor mounted press that have taken over 30 tonne to get the buggers out, so as long as your only intending to use it for smaller bushes and nothing much more than that then you should be ok bud.
