Default Newbie from Kent

Hi guys, my names dan (as you can tell) but I'm not 23 lol I'm 28, just a forum name over always had and its just stuck lol.

Anyway I've won on eBay a scooby which I'm hopefully going to pick up at the weekend, it's the first time I'm going to own one and I'm not that 'up' with the models so you'll have to excuse my stupidness but I'm a quick learner lol. I've been in the jap scene for over 5 years and have had 4 gen 6 celicas, 2 mk2 mr2s one of which was a tubby, two s13s one with over 310bhp, but over always wanted a scooby so thought I'd take the plung as they say.

I can't upload a pic as I'm on my phone and my photo bucket app doesn't work on my iPhone 5 for some reason, but the eBay item number was 140917852934 if someone wants to rip up a picture to show. I know it's not to everyone's tastes but I quite like it

Welcome Dan,

I'm from South East London area - I use Slowboy Racing for servicing/modding/mapping etc.. Great company, Neil really knows his stuff so would highly recommend them.

Here are pics of your car - I had a little nosey

I'm a former Celica owner also (2004 Gen7 T-sport).. you are going to love your Impreza.

Good luck!

Yeah I'm itching to go pick her up, just waiting for the guy to get his plate changed over so as usual it's the dvla holding me up lol

The owner tells me it's been converted to rwd but the drive shaft to put it back to 4wd is in the boot, to me having to rwd is cool (going back to my drifting fun I had in my s13) but a mate of mine said they have a habit of breaking the shafts in rwd, is this true?

I've a newage (Hawkeye Sti) and know some bits about that (from the help of a lot of really knowledgeable people on here mainly) however know very very little on the scooby classics mate.

I'm sure someone else will be happy to help though.

Those ones above are his mate - I took them from eBay for him as he couldn't get it to work.

Hello and welcome there and as above Neil@Slowboy racing I can only recommend for servicing etc,if you have time speak with him and he will recommend you what is best and what is wrong,we are using only him for everything(he building for us 2.35L and few other bits, plus our wagon has been built by him) and really worth to speak to him
