Default Shell Drivers Club

As most of us live in Shell petrol stations and have a Shell drivers club card and collect points.
Well the the postman today delivered my fuel voucher from Shell and my next tank fill up will be nearly free!!!!
Happy days with the current fuel cost.

That's good going for a nearly free tank full.
My vouchers come through seems like every 4months, then its only for £5 tops lol, still guess its free just by swipping the card each time.

Depends how much you use a week.....I do about 40ltrs

Have they changed the way you collect and recieve them then?
I use to get automatic vouchers through post.....are they now saved on database and you have to call them off?

They have changed to system now so us higher octane junkies don't get as good a deal these days.

I used to get every 3 months vouchers for about £15.00 to be used on normal fuel or £17.50 on the higher octane stuff. Don't get that anymore just £15.00 on all fuels

If you can get free fuel or what ever you request when registering is all good.
Free fuel is the one for me

I normally get £50 worth of vouchers every quarter to exchange for shop vouchers, argos etc, and have points roll over to the next quarter. I fill the truck up with 200+ litres every other day though
Shell changed their conditions a while back limiting each transaction to 125 points regardless

from the shell terms and conditions:

"6. Linking Cards

a) Shell may allow cardholders to link their Card account to other cardholders’ accounts if they reside at the same home address. Details of the availability of and conditions for this offer, when applicable, will be set out on www.shell.co.uk/driversclub."

It always makes me think - if all the people who had Shell cards could have the unclaimed points of everybody else who doesn't bother, we'd be able to run our cars for free. I always ask for the points if the person in front of me says they don't have a card, but you have to be quick, once they've pressed the "no Driver's Club Card" button you've had it

A good tip also is
Remembering most shell garages have the card reader on the customer side of counter so once you have approached the attendant & stated your pump its your responsibility to swipe card before receipt is drawn
So in other words get your card in hand before you enter shop & process before money exchange / it's what I do anyways

To add to above also check your receipt for the drivers club number on the bottom, had it before where that the attendant and me have swiped and shown as accepted but not registered on your card.

If your club number is on the bottom of the receipt then it has been completed, if not the the points have gone else where????
