Cool

Saw a Ferrari F40 on the road...had to follow it for a bit even though it was going in the opposite way from where I wanted to go (sad I know!)

The driver was really giving it some welly but he kept having to back off cos of the other traffic...on the overrun the 'zorst was spitting out flames and I don't mean just quick flashes...it kept going for 4 or 5 seconds!!!

Made my day!

This didn't happen to be on or near the M40 near Gaydon yesterday evening did it?

If so, I had the aforementioned F40 right behind me burbling merrily, along with two 360s and a F50... The most impressive convoy of Ferraris I have ever seen!!

There had been an accident just down from the Gaydon turn-off, and all the Ferraris moved from the outside lane (which I was in) to get off at the Gaydon junction.

My windows were immediately wound down to hear (not to mention phoning a equally car mad mate so he could hear it too )them accelerating sharply into the gaps

And yes the F40 was spitting huge flames on the overrun (which nearly incinerated a couple of old dears in a Micra, which made me laugh)...

Very, very nice - almost made sitting in traffic worth while

Cheers,

Christian

What's the legality of you're exhaust spitting flames? I was talking with my brother last night about getting the blackbeast decatted, as it could then possibly spit flames, but he said that dear old plod would not be too impressed with this. so what's the deal?

Good to know I'm not the only sad git around!

The way he was driving he was probably trying to get away from all the cars that follow him!

Marcus,

As long as you leave the eleventh commandment intact you should be fine... I personally try to avoid driving in a flame spitting manner when being followed by the police... however amusing it would be to fire up the anti-lag system to flame a bit as you dissapear from them at the next roundabout... somehow this never seems the clever thing to do when they are around.
