I was trawling through the for sale ads on one of the kit-car sites - and found this beastie - an impreza turbo engined porsche 956 replica - see it at http://www.ricola.co.uk

mmmmm, nice. Scooby powered speedster.
I do remember reading in some VW mag about someone slotting a scooby block into a classic shape VW bug. Did try and persuade my brother that he wanted to do this, or stick a porsche turbo engine in his bug, but he was having none of it.
Personally I think a porker or scooby engined vee dub camper van would be awesome!

Ok - so I can't add up - to quote the website its a "Replica of a Porsche 1957 356 speedster" - the number may be a suspect anyway - as its got bits of 911, 944, and Beetle ( a (1)936 Porsche? ) in there
