Bugeye /classic running gear
I've just picked my classic ra shell and bits up today and weighing up my options
It's a very nice solid shell my plan is track / Tarmac rally type build
I've also got the bugeye and I'm planning on raiding it for parts
I'm stripping the ra shell to seam and cage it so im going to be starting with a totally bare classic shell
What running gear will fit from the bug onto a classic , I.e subframes suspension ect
Or should I leave the bug alone and source either individual quality parts and do it a bit at a time or a classic doner car to raid as and when

Cheers mate
Mmm decisions decisions , the bugs shell is pretty rough to say the least
It seems the easy option but it would mean I'm not really building it to the spec I want and if I only use say 60% of the bug , then what's left will be going for scrap
But it would be handy to use the bug , with it just being sat there

Stuff like the actuall shocks , bushes even the gearbox I would prefer to source better items
That's why it could be a bit of a waste stripping the bug for what could turn out to be a bit of a waste
I'm not sure what to do tbh

The bugs not worth selling as a whole car tbh mate
It's not a tidy example by any means
I think I'll keep the bug to knock about in and take longer sourcing the bits for the ra , I do want it to be a nice spec and tidy and I think this will probably be my last car build so I'm not gonna rush it ( getting too old for it now)
