Mini number plate and STI fmic logo!!
Good evening all, recently fitted a front mount and noticed the number plate covers it up quite a bit so got a friend to make a smaller one and I cut it down today at work.
Made a Sti stencil to give an OEM badge/look.
Cheers Chris

Number plate looks fine, should've probably had a wee bit more plate around the letters IMO, that'll save any hassle! FMIC looks good

I used to have a plate on my old car with the legal font but without the BS number etc.
Plod pulled me over twice, the second time he had a good look around the car, checked the tyres but never mentioned the plate. Suppose there's always a chance some pedant twat copper would notice it however.

i had a mini plate for 2 years, i say had as a few weeks ago i got fined £60 and told to remove it and as its a private plate the awkward copper said the dvla may revoke it if i get caught again.
he only pulled me over initialy due to incorrect spacing on the rear and that has correct font size etc, he nearly spunked his pants when he noticed the front.
he was a **** though.
saying that though i had full house, wrong spacing, very small, wrong font and no kite mark.

lol - nearly
The great thing about having UK cars/bikes over here you can do almost what you like to them but they only become "illegal" in their country of registration, therefore the Gendarmes can't issue you with any fines (except speeding, drink driving, etc.). I actually got stopped on Tuesday - probably due to the plate and the exhaust noise, routine paper check, all good and then spent 10 mins discussing with the very nice officer why French Gendarmes now run Megane RS instead of the Scooby. Their last batch of Impreza's clocked up an average of 260,000kms each - no wonder they were shagged.
Only problem I have is long-term French insurance on non-French registered vehicles - but after 12 years here I know the "right" people.
Rear plate is standard size silver on black
