Sorry to hijack the thread but I find the seats I've got really uncomfy, I am a rather large guy and I find the bolsters in my classic uk 2000 turbo dig into the back of my ribs - What would be the best interior to go for?

 

Buy a set of Newage seats, the bases are slightly wider

 

It's not the base I need to be wider, It's the back so the bolsters don't dig into the back of my ribcage - Is the back wider also on them and if so what year would I need to get them from and are they are straight swap?

 

2001 onwards... think the backs are slightly wider too!

 

As mervil says. My dad is 6ft 3 and about 6ft wide. He's gone for the new age interior and he is so much comfier. He can now fit in the car and no longer looks like a water melon in a vice.

 

Which are in better nick? The black or the red? I guess you dont see red as often as black....

yes they are custom but he bought them already done.

 

I saw the red ones on eBay and thought theh would look quite horrid in the flesh

 

I have those in my car and they sit you much higher than my sparco seats and also they don't hold you in as well as STI seats and they weigh 27kgs each. They do look good though

 

The red and black seats look great!

 

Just the black ones for me - the red is very cheap looking!
