Question Clutch

Be time to replace my clutch on my bug soon, anyone recomend type and best place to go?
Car is 6 speed 2002 bug STi and only looking for slightly uprated as not into launch starts etc.

I would recommend Scooby clinic but its quite a journey from Essex, however I here good things out of the slowboy racing garage which is in your area. Jura on here uses them a lot for his monster.

As far as a good clutch, exceedy fast road pink clutch is a good on to go for.

I'd recommend buying it from Camskill (best prices I've seen) although if you buy/have it fitted by a tuner then they may do you a deal

I bought mine from Aztec on here. You only need a standard STI one unless you`re going for power over around 360ish IIRC (or drive it like a **** on Maccy Ds carpark like classic owners )

i also bought mine from Aztec, had a really good deal, done over 2k miles now with no problems or judder etc, mine is a 6 speed bugeye sti & its been re-mapped by duncan @ racedynamics with no issues.

Got price for clutch £240 and labour £200 so can be done under £500 with good parts.

Got the bits and going to be done, if it needs a flywheel then this will be replaced and the cost will go up!

I went with a ACT xb4 stss and streetlite flywheel, very happy.
