Default Side exit exhaust

Hi guys
Just wondering if anyone runs the above on their classic scoob
It's for a track car so dosent have to be pretty but was just curios about what designs/ silencers you can use

Reckon it will be too loud for most tracks, plus all the messaging about, can't see what gains you would get? Money could be spent in other places

'cause side exits are cool!
speak to this guy Custom Performance
He did a system on my Soarer and the work is very good.
I think its doable to keep below track noise regs.
plus it good to be different from everybody else.

Thanks for the replys guys, I'm not really after a fire breathing pipe hanging out of the side :-)

The main reason being that my current exhaust hangs quite low and now the car has coilovers I think it will catch on things like the trailer etc so I would have to customise that exhaust anyway.
Plus a nice rear diffuser might be on the cards some day

Back in the escort cosworth days when commonly used in rallying the side exits were popular as the exhausts are genially shorter, therefore getting the gases out quicker.

I use a side exit on my classic. Exits 6" from the rear side skirt on drivers side. Using x 2 silencers. 1 Cobra oval just before the actual exit and 1 Jetex round in the tranny tunnel.

And anyone would want a side exit if they,d heard yours Matt....one of the best sounding cars I've heard.

Exactly what I was looking for
If you have any more pics of it now and how low it's sits that would be great
