Hi All,

I would like to introduce myself, as you may guess from my tag, I have spent many years playing with cars from another manufacturer. I am not an owner, but an engineer, race mechanic and petrolhead. In this I am very lucky to have some good friends, one in particular has a rather plesant car collection, all are used (very hard) and I work with him to do pretty much everything, including getting to drive on occasion!

The latest addition will interest you on this site. he has recently purchased Colin McRae's 1998 WRC car! We will be bringing it out to play soon, it has seen some use over the years, we want it right!

To be cheeky now, to get the details right we are trying to find photos of it, the registration is R10 WRC. any info would be most welcome!

Thanks for the welcome and responses, certainly had not seen the Finland shot before!

An apology, bit of finger trouble in typing Colin's surname, no disrespect to him, just late at night!

I will be getting some photos sorted soon, bit awkward to get nice shots in the workshop, but I will get some of the details if tha is of interest. Parts such as the suspension uprights are all fabricated rather than cast, the craftsmanship is stunning.

It will take a while to get the pictures sorted, but they will come!
