The speedo is confusing too, the odometer is in miles but the speedo in kph, and it says mph...

Put up a link to the advert, its not the genuine clock set. But may have had a replacement, but the odds are stacking against it. Looking like a jdm import, but tbh is better than a uk terzo unless its the ltd edition factor that your after.

I seen this advertised aswell. Personally i don't think it is a terzo, it has the wrong seats it has no terzo badges. It looks to me like the uk turbo they did in 74f blue and it could be a european import so still a uk turbo but a euro version and when it has been brought into this country registered as a terzo. My mate has a uk wagon in 74f blue that was a euro import and some muppet has registered it as a turbo 2000 22b. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1999-SUBAR...item416fc3aae9

so maybe a euro import 2000 mis-logged as a terzo? or a european terzo?
would that mean that the odometer is reading 60,000km and not miles? in which case it may be even lower mileage than stated?
wow im confused, ive just dropped the guy a message to see if he has any more info.

I'm not sure, i've asked him for as much info on the car a possible before i even go and take a look, i'm not intending to buy this one in particular, but its worth a look... you can't tell a good one if you haven't seen a bad one i guess.

No aluminium on a terzo.
How can he say no rust. Has he inspected between the skins in the rear arches?
My terzo had different plugs on clocks to uk so they had to import from Japan when dealer replaced speedo. Terzo should have aircon and 6 cd changer in boot. Plus number plack mats n seats.

Yeah as above really, he messages back saying its a uk car and the logbook says terzo...
It's clearly and import that's the same colour and similar trim to the terzo so I think they logged it as one as it was the most similar uk equivalent.

Plenty of import wrx's ended up as gl's or sports so not beyond the realm of possibility the DVLA could end up putting it down as a terzo.
What exactly do they do if they're not sure, put the possable answers in a hat and draw one out

That isn't a Terzo it's an import as others have said above. There are no Terzo decals, no Terzo plaque, no Terzo seats, non UK clocks and the Terzo is a 98 car not a 99.
Not saying there is anything wrong with it but it isn't a Terzo and Terzo's aren't aluminium
Lots of Ebay sellers don't know their ***** from the their elbows so don't believe the bull**** they tell you
Edited to add it is registered as a Terzo but to be honest that means nothing because according to the DVLA there are 22B wagons out there
