How do i know if my 05 blobeye wrx is a gdf or gdb (what does gdf/b stand for)any help welcome cheers.

Do you mean GDB or GGB these are sti saloon and wagon codes. If yours is a WRX then will be GDA or GGA

GG Is Wagon, GB is saloon

Magic m8 cheers ! Mines a wrx saloon so am reconing its gona b a GDA ?? ma first scooby so still a bit in the dark on the codes n what not ,needed to know for ordering ma coilivers so cheers pal !

yep it is, If you look at the little metal plate on top of the passenger suspension strut under the bonnet it will/should say on there too.

Neva thought to look there , cheers man. Main reason im gettin coilovers is been told my rear strut tops are fooked , its making a knocking/popping sound from the rear sus and handles like a dog at the moment (realy bad lift off oversteer) even at low speed. Do you reckon a set of coilys would solve ma problem ?

Sounds like it would improve it no end, Check the Anti roll bar bushes and drop links too as these also affect the handling and can result in a bit of knocking
