Been contemplating this one for a while and it dawned on me that i've seen plenty of 2 doors with it done and they look cool as you like, however, I ain't seen any 4 door jobs.
Anyone with any pictures could you post em, especially if its a DBM car.
Maybe the reason I haven't noticed any is that no-ones had it done cos it looks crap on a 4 door, maybe I is just Blind
Giz ya input chaps
By the way, 28th April, check out the Midlands meet section and put ya names down.

For what its worth.........
I think it sucks...... Just so tacky - it looks bleeding awful. For example I got offered an ex-demo P1 with blacked out rear windows for circa £1K less than anywhere else - I declined......And 3 months later its still for sale !
Get a grip - get some style - THINK !

Gastro!
Did you decline because the windows were tinted or because it was an ex demo (ie 'had the nuts thrashed off it') ??
If it was because of the tint, then it's YOU who needs to get a grip and think!! The tint is only film, you can easily remove it, you NUMPTY!!

Leigh,
Very base. No - I declined - 'cos I got a better deal from another garage against my P/ex. I just didnt fancy a pimped up car that'd take about 3 hours to sort out taking the film off and wrecking the heating element...DOH !

GASTRO,
Keep calm m8. I think that P1's not selling coz it's a ex-demo car. Don't know about the rest of you, but I wouldn't touch one with a 10ft pole.
Mikey,
Personally I like em. Don't like it when the fronts are left though; gives the impression it isn't quite finished yet
I've seen some DBM and silver cars with the tint fading from back to front. Looks way better than really dark windows all the way around.
Take a look at Jza's car at

Mr Cookie,
GASTRO's comments are in no way representative of the majority of my fellow scots
On another note, didn't that McAllister lad do well with that penalty kick tonight. Guess he's finally got over that miss against the auld enemy

Leigh (+others),
Course I'm a friendly chap who likes a bit of banter.......(I'm also English !! )..
Just thought I'd put the cat amongst the 'tinted pigeons' so to speak...
No offence intended.
Gastro
PS I think that all the cars on this post look very nice - in a strange sort of way

Seems to have drifted off topic a bit so I'll bring it back. I got my STi V with dark tinted rears with no tinting on the front and I didn't like the look so I got the fronts done in a lighter tint and that is much better because it apears to fade from back to front. I'm still not too keen on the dark tint, it makes reversing in the dark difficult I would prefer to have the lighter tint all over. Mind you the kids like the rear windows because they say they feel like film stars

HOIIIIIIIII!
I can assure you that Gastro is in NO WAY a Scotsman. :-) Nowhere near!
(although he has inherited some of our
tight-fisted Scottish ways! - but I put that
down to the semi-Yorkshire/Lancashire blood in him!)
Dunno why he's rambling on slagging off blacked out windows anyway - has he told ANYONE on here that his new number plate is P1 MPS?
:-)))))
hehehehe.
