Purchased from classifieds - parts missing.........
Bought a towbar for my hawkeye from the scoobynet classifieds, and after taking delivery of it I noticed I was missing the two side pieces that connect to the chassis. Tried contacting the seller via his e-mail address and also private messages through Scoobynet, but I cannot get a response after three weeks. I've only asked if he still has the missing parts or if they are still fitted to his car.
Any suggestions of what I can do whether by another way of getting the seller to communicate with me, or if I can get the missing parts elsewhere.
Cheers,
Andy

I've checked the activity of kent-scooby and still no forum activity since the day after receiving my private messages. Starting to think I've wasted £50 on a towbar I can't fit to my car. I've got the chap's name and have tried googling it to try and contact him by other means than the e-mail address but without success.
Does anyone have a witter towbar fitted to a newage that I could possibly take a pattern of the parts I'm missing so I can get some fabricated?
Cheers,
Andy

Pretty much given up buying anything on here now- too many occurances and just recently been left out of pocket myself on a part that never arrived.
The place is a shambles with too many spoiling what should be a great place to trade parts.

I've been lucky, no issues up to now but my heart goes out to all those, like the Spanish feller who bought scrap Tein coilovers for pristine money. I can only imagine how exasperating it is to try and get your money back.
