Default wheel size advise

looking for some 18"s for my classic STI, i like my wheels to fit nice and snug inside the arch and not hanging out, i dont understand all the offset and j ???
looking now at a set of innovit evo but unsure if i need 8 x 18 or 7.5 x 18??
any help appreciated please

For a classic then 8x18 should be fine, as will 7.5 x 18 although this is a width more commonly linked to 17" alloys.

You'll need a PCD of 5x100 with an offset of between 48 and 53.

18's can rub if you get the wrong size tyres, also if the car is lowered you can have problems and the ride is a little too firm, meaning it can affect handling hence why most people stick with 17's
