Default Hello

Hi everyone just bought my first Subaru and I love it wish I got one sooner. It's a 2006 sti. I've had it for two weeks and every so often the temp gauge starts rising up to 3/4. I'm thinking it might be the Head gasket after reading threads on here. I live in Cardiff so was wondering if there is a decent garage in the area to check it over for me.

Temp increases on the EJ257 usually means the dreaded HG failure!!

I feel your pain...

Dean done a coolant and thermostat change, took it for a run then checked it for gases in the coolant. Everything was normal so going to see how it goes but I've got a feeling it's going to be the head gasket though.
First time down the three arches, top bunch of guys I'll be using them from now on, thanks for the advice.

Well that sounds positive, like you said keep an eye on it..!

I have not used them myself but Dean and the guys at the Arches come recommended by some of the boys our club, SWS (South Wales Scoobies)
