Default re-programming a key fob

just a quick one i am getting donated a keyfob by a kind member on here to me as mine is very tempromental and the back is missing its an old classic fob the blue and black one with scooby logo ......i called my closest subaru parts place (county motorworks chelmsford) not an actual subaru dealership but sells all the parts ive needed in past ......but they say they do not have the equipment to reprogram fob to my car and next closest place to me is woodford london ......and not even sure they reprogram them does anyone know if theres any mobile technicians around essex that can do this or any other garage???? is it easy if u have the kit needed??? does it have to be a scooby garage (dealership) ???? any info very welcome thanks as mines on last legs
