Ive been replacing my engine due to hg gone, nealy everything plumbed in, and found this pipe . looks like petrol pipe after spend hours where to fit. pic below;


So gone back to my old engine and it seems different and pic below is my old engime hg fail.;

Anyone help please so frustating as brought this as told waterpump fail, and was hg, everything is going bad :'( seems the fuel rails are different.

Its a 1996 wagon turbo 2000

Yep thats the fuel return pipe, it goes from the reg to the right hand side (looking from front) neer the fuel filter i believe.

One in first pic is with the fuel pressure reg adaptor rather than the lil fpr at end of rail . On your old engine can you see the lil fpr behind pipe s in second pic on rail? Take that off and fit where that adaptor is bolted on . Take more pics of end of rail on both engines so can tell ya.

New engine in now hasnt got like the fuel reg etc , but the pipe had been cut, so is there different types

Thinking about it, seems to me new engine looks like someone had uprated fuel reg on
