Default Another what's it worth thread...

... not the car though

What are Version 8 engines going for these days?
Long engine, so inc heads, manifold, sump etc...84k, regular services, Millers oil, no bangs/rattles/knocks.

Also, how about 6 speed (non-DCCD) boxes, with diff, driveshaft etc...

Cheers

Engine wouldn't include turbo (and only have the 550cc injectors)

Give you £50 and a packet of Malteser's for the 6 speed box, Gary.

I think that's a very fair offer, money AND sweets.

Better idea would be to keep the 'box, unless the type R already has a 6 speed?

Try not to rush into things mate it's coming up to that time of year were people are just putting themselves into more debt and borrowing money to have a nice Xmas buying presents etc... I think from November to about January has to be the hardest times to sell anything unless its booze or food.keep it advertised and if you can sit on it untill after Christmas and the new year and see how you go before you start pulling it apart it's a really nice car and should sell.

Box prices have come down but mainly STi 7 boxes A good STi 8 box from a respected member/car will easily get over £1500. Good call on keeping it though for the type R
