Default Real WRC Parts

Hi guys,

Does anyone know a good trader who can get hold of WRC prodrive parts. I am looking for S12c bonnet vents in carbon.

I have tried WRC spare parts but the price is a little OTT even for my love of real WRC parts,
http://www.subaruwrcspares.com/8.html

S12b bonnet vents:
Carbon £175.00 each
GRP £110.00 each
+ Vat

I am also looking for the WRC carbon firewall had Olly Clark hunting for this for the last few months without joy. Any ideas

I have looked into their firewall (it’s not anywhere near the quality of the prodrive made stuff) but will try them for the vents, Good idea

Waiting for him to pop up on here, after talking to him a few weeks back I think his WRC vent was a lucky buy off Ebay from a seller that didn’t really understand what he was selling.

If I can find some vent then hopefully Mr Frayz will kindly do the cutting again.

Thanks for the ideas guys!

Does anyone have any contacts that run S12 WRC cars? I don’t see many teams spending £500 on two small vents every time they have a bump at the front?

Im afraid the parts really are that much.

There is no shortcut to getting hold of WRC/Group A parts. You either pay the money or buy copies. Hence, there are so many people (roughly) replicating various world car parts. The same way you can get copy Mulberry handbags...!

An N12 firewall would do if you want a nice one. But you also need the aluminium panels either side that the fire wall seals to. This is the tricky bit

Also a GroupN/WRC firewall is built around carrying 2 spare wheels and an 80L fuel tank, i doubt you want either?

Chris.

I know a guy running an S12b but I'm pretty sure he has all genuine kit.
I'd say just bite the bullet lol, or try and source a WRC bonnet complete and get it painted.

I'll cut in whatever you need either way mate.

Melvyn Evans runs a few, Kenny Mcinstry in Ireland, it may be worth joining britishrally.co.uk and asking there?

The team Ice RCM car has one of the WRC firewall without these extra bits, will keep looking!
