Mate I've only ever put genuine Subaru coolant in as its ready mixed with distilled water. As for the colour of that it looks like someone has put that holts rad weld stuff in there.
Yeh that does not look normal at all, i have the pink coolant and its still pink, that has either reacted or it has got rad weld in it mate, i would do a proper flush ant try again if i was you

i flushed mine out and replaced the lot with pink coolant about a month ago, i checked it today and its still pink.
im guessing the rad was not flushed on the ops car.
Drained old green stuff flushed header tank then rad
Im not calling you a liar or anything but that has not been flushed out properly mate, If you are doing a coolant change (blue to pink) you have to ensure its completely flushed of all the old coolant as in most cases it will react with the old stuff
Regarding the flush.... What would you use, a few litres of distilled water?
You can buy flushs from forte which break down the corrosion when left for a couple of hours in the system and then run a hose flushing the system out bud
Don't forget the matrix pipes when you drain everything Very important to flush properly when moving to an OAT coolant, which the Pink Comma is I believe That looks like mine after a crappy mechanic mixed Halfords Pink OAT with the original coolant when failing to flush adequately
Reflush and use a quality ready mixed coolant like Motul Inugel Optimal
Aye, me and Jeff put the pink stuff when swapping my buggered radiator over. Looked exactly like that in the header tank when filling it up via the small back hose
