Hi all, i wondered if someone could help me regarding which Impreza i actually own ....I am in the Army in Cyprus and i have recently purchased what i believe to be a WRX (99 or 00 MY) the Applied model code is as follows: GC8GK8D and the engine type is EJ205NW1KD. After i have undergone many searches on various websites, i am unable to work out if my Scooby is an Import or a UK spec car. It has right hand side of the steering column indicators, i cant see a stuck on rear fog light on the back and im totally baffled as to WTF i actually have...!! I am genuinely concerned also that it may in actual fact be stolen and someone has just stuck on a different plate...lol Anyway. Thanks for any help that any one can offer....!

Indicators on the right would suggest Import...

Get some photos up of the Car mate inc interior/clocks and anything else you may think might help.

The K in the applied code was only used for UK cars as far as I know as imports have the number of doors in this part of the applied code.

Thanks so far guys....ok, NO rear wiper, Fuel gauge on left of the clocks (i think this is an aftermarket STI Dash that they have added) Not sure where to get gearbox code from..??

everythings pointing towards it being a uk turbo 2000,you should be able to see the transmission code underneath the intercooler stood from the passenger side written on a label on the gearbox itself im tipping this will be 752VB as fitted to uk models

It's a UK car, version 6 (not actually given a version number as its a UK car).
Same model code as the RB5.

Will have a 754 box at that age, probably a TY754VN1AA

One last thing guys....i need a new Clutch and i have purchased this EXEDY Stage 1 one on ebay:http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3210078149...84.m1439.l2649

My question is: will it fit..? He said it is from a Classic WRX same as mine, but that it is 305mm...? Has he got this wrong by 5mm or am i scupper red? Cheers.
