Is the centre pipe resonated or straight through? Might be cheaper to change that if it's a straight through

You could also look into fitting a universal backbox bung. Only trouble is they look a bit pants.

I really don’t get why people need to reply with such S***, if you don’t have anything to add to the thread why post?

Don’t have any experience with classics but I would keep an eye out in the for sale area, or ebay and just try a few. I must be on back box number 5!

5" - surely not?

Good exhaust - Hayward & Scott or Milltek

It's because they measure their penisis by their trolling ability and their post count.

Just my opinion, but with some posts, a lot of people will just give up reading them (like I did with the first post). The lack of full stops and the text speak puts a lot of people off. I`m not having a go, just pointing it out

Cobra exhausts sound nice without being too loud

Text speak is a no, no. It's in the T and C's or it used to be.

I think it boils down to individuals pet hates and improper English is a big one it people's eye.

What won't do anyone any favours is using bad language and mouthing off

Also not all high post counts mean someone trolling and ***** waving but those who try to offer and be constructive with good advice and just are active members on here.

Regarding the exhaust, I've had many impreza with all different set ups and I would suggest either a Hayward and Scott system or a tsl grpn back box, both very subtle unless on the loud pedal

Best of luck

Isn't it just a bit lazy not bothering to spell words correctly? I guess not everybody understands basic punctuation but spelling is a no brainer...

Hayward & Scott make some nice kit; make sure you go for a resonated centre section if you want to avoid it droning on motorways.

Yes, but there are a lot of dicks on this forum nowadays.
They seem to take great pleasure highlighting mistakes/errors.

Text speak isn't on though, its not like you're being charged by the letter.

Just fitted a TSL group N and decat downpipe/de-res centre and it's a really nice sound, doesn't drone either. It's quite quiet (nearly as quiet as a Prodrive backbox and centre cat) until you put your foot down.

Very distinct noise too, more of a rasp (rather than a roar like my mates NurSpec R) which I prefer

Have a look on youtube for different exhausts... I appreciate it will not be like the real thing but will give you a good idea. Some people javelin put a lot of effort in such videos...

Miltek are very good though.... gets my vote.

That's the same setup as mine actually. Sounds nice. I personally would never go any louder.

Group N TSL fully de-catted here too.

A good unique sound I think.
