Well a sad day but happy aswell :( :D
well guys I'm sure a few will be able to relate to what I'm about to say , I've had 6 scoobies and I have tried to get a different car to be sensible or cos I've had to sell for houses etc... I would rather do any other option including me n my missus to do without not ti get rid that's how much I love scoobies but after 22 months of a ban and building my car I prett much hate being in it don't feel comfortable / safe or trust the car in any way shape of form .. I drive never taking it Over 3000rpm apart from the odd 5/6 times n even then watching every gauge etc.. I have finally had a reality check and relised £10/15 per day is just too much... The money is bad but if it was a car I was happy with I could put up with that but Ive just had enough and I'm waiting for the next thing to go wrong as they always do...
So pushing 30 and sick of crashing over hump bumps and potholes and the incessant roar of the nur spec I've had enough ...
So after looking for a nice diesel I decided to bid on an x5 with not expecting to win it but to my supprised I won IMHO and research shows the beat engine for reliability the 3.0l petrol I've got an lpg conversion to go in for £800 fully fitted and I can have a piece full stress free ride with the knowledge my kids will be safe [IMG]

Lol I'm thinking same here, listen out for clunk when changing gear into reverse that's a sign,
I got my brother one a while ago now but went for the 05 facelift model and diesel too, lot better on fuel and still enough grunt.
I'm now getting one next year but going for the later 08 model in a 3ltr twin turbo diesel version which is pretty quick at 7 secs 0-60 and best part is road tax is £270 a year instead of the shocking £475. Best handling 4x4 jeep IMO, but rubbish off road lol
