"titanium" sti key
Evening all,
Wanting one of these
http://img367.imageshack.us/img367/4107/stikeyfy0.jpg
My question is why do all the adverts say these keys are not compatible with turbo models, there's several on ebay that say this.
A friend of mine had one for his newage sti jdm
Are they saying my newage sti has a chip in the key or something?
Thanks in advance.

The JDM's don't have an alarm or immobiliser as standard so no need for the key to be coded. I have one for my Spec C, just needed it cut.

The key sizes are different, hence they dont fit.

If its a classic it will need some modding, which prodriverules can help with if you ask nicely

I take it Ryan has a few of these keys then and does the modding to them before selling on.....
How much Ryan and no need to give me the PayPal details, I know them well enough by now

Ryan doesn't supply the key, the ebay link is further up.
All UK cars should have an immobiliser transponder in the key.
Quite like my Tit'anium key.

Ah I will give up on that idea then, I'm sure I could bypass the chip but its not something I would want to be without.
Cheers all.

My key isn't the transponder type though so surely the key in the link would work once cut?
