Non ABS brake lines - Talk to me!
Afternoon all
Im currently removing my abs from my 95 classic wrx.
The questions i have is can i still use the std bmc as it only has 2 ports.
Is this because i will need to run 1 line to the back and the split into 2 and the same with the fronts?
If so which port is front and which is rear?
Also what is that little part that sits near the bmc on the suspension turret?.....i presume its some sort of bias valve............can i ditch this?
Any pics or info of what you guys/girls have done would be great

Just done this myself, i completely pulled the old system out and fitted a new one.
Both the ports are the same, so it doesn't matter what one you use for the front / rear / split, the standard system is a split setup N/S/R and O/S/F, then N/S/F and O/S/R, it's called a crossover system i think.
I still use my current BMC.
It's a brake bias valve, limits the fluid to the rear so the rear doesn't lock up before the fronts.
Remove this and buy a better brake bias valve, then you can have adjustable bias.
I'll upload some of mine in a moment.
Thanks

See here for my attempt, I replaced the bias valve with and adjustable one and apart from a short length that came through the bulkhead replaced all of my lines with copper...
