I wish I could tell you about today's footage but you will have to wait for next week.
Put it this way directing all the lads at once was a hard task, but we got the shots after we had all stopped laughing!
Roll on next week!

Hi,
glad its been well received,
To strip an engine is normally 4 hours give or take as we inspect the components and report on condition so we have a list for the owner.
This one had no turbo on it to start with and was buzzed apart for the video, individual components inspected and reported on afterwards, actual stripping time a couple of hours.
Same goes for the jig pulling the chassis leg out, the video makes the leg look like plasticine, they are very tough and only crumple where they are designed to do so in the event of an impact.
Makes enjoyable viewing and it showcases what we do here and that’s everything Subaru, all under one roof, well two to be fair.
Thanks for your positive comments and thanks for watching, next one due around Thurs next week.
cheers

Hi,
this weeks video will be late due to this....................
We have been invited to fill a gap in the Gymkhana grid finals at Santa pod this Sunday.
A request from James Gilbert of monster energy came through to us on Monday morning, a lot of quick decision making and planning has gone into the event since then and we are going to do it in our RAF help for Heroes rally car,
Its not built for this kind of use and Chris the Pilot is a rally driver and not a doughnut champion but hey, we cannot turn down an opportunity like this, if we get to the final we go head to head with Ken Block !, wishful thinking I know but worth a shot.
Keep you posted
Cheers

Hi,
well they are all down at the pod doing their bit to race the car in the Gymkhana grid final.
Chris has never done this style of driving and the car is not made for it, its made to grip not break away but who does Chris draw against first time out ?, you guessed Ken Block himself.
No practice and straight out against the gymkhana king, I am told we beat him off the line and to the first power slide, then he was in control, Chris held his own and was only beaten by the fact that the final do-nut was a double one and as our diff set up is not to break away we lost lots of time there and Ken Block won, obviously.
However next time out against a Hawkeye drift car the commentator asked Ken Block who his money was on and he replied "Chris Daykin in the scooby clinic car", not bad for a first go at this type of thing, oh and yes Ken was right, Chris beat the hawkeye.
Some video footage to edit up so will keep you posted.
cheers
