I have never seen one make close to 400bhp, if it were my money I would just fit a vf35 which will get similar power.

there are much quicker turbos out there than the Aps for a classic 2 litre, it will be better suit to the ej25.
depending on what bhp yr after the vf 34/35 will get around 340-350 bhp with quicker spool up than the Aps, or try the MD series (from lateral performance)

I have had one on a 2ltr and its good fun but if he is looking at an APS40 he has no idea on how much cash it takes to support the turbo

Engine is all forged so no worries there. I just thought I'd found a bargain

Like I said you don't realise the cost to support a gt35r!

It basically depends on your Impreza you have or/and the mods you have. The SC series is a good move

i got the SR40 and its laggy, its an old unit now, you are better off buying a VF series turbo or an SC billet unit.
