Default PLEASE HELP!!! Idle probs

Over the last year when starting my car it ticks over very low then when it gets warm it's perfect. Now the weather is getting colder it's starts then dies then ticks over nearly cutting out until its warm again. I've had 3 idle control valves on it. It's a 96 sti

Temp. sensor?

This tells the ECU when to enrich the mixture ..... disconnecting it will fool the ECU into thinking it is freezing, try that.

Idle problems can also mean the MAF is on it's way out, or gone.
