www.cobrasport.com i have ordered there 3" down pipe which removes both cats and non-resonated centre section would of got a back box but i wanted to keep my prodrive back box quite good prices if you ask me

not advice as such, i have a 3 inch exhaust in mind just seeing what others have or like.

never considered cobra and they look ok.

its more for the bhp im going to be running,i need a 3 inch system, my current miltek is only 2.75.

dont want nurspec loud but obviously a 3.0 decat system is going to be louder than your average exhaust.

Tommy we are running HKS Ti-Limited and we are very happy with HKS,for track we are used HKS Hi Power Silent,this is again our prime Ti-Limited very quiet(90dB),but great sound

Had many an impreza with many a different manufacturers system on it and I have to say the sound of the current h and s is by far the best. Nice and deep on tick over, quiet when plodding around and great sounding when on the loud pedal, really is the best sounding exhaust I've had and it's on a 2.5 which are not the loudest for the burble

We are bought more than one year ago from Sumo Power,but you can find them for less on eBay or used here and elsewhere

HKS Hi Power Silent will be mine choice if you are not looking for loud exhaust


As I said,we are been surprised with reading on the track with Hi Power Silent,our Ti-Limited have 103dB

yes i have heard these are one of the best, your description is what im after really.

It was between h and s and miltek but just seeing what people have.

not interested in pointlessly loud but i guess its going to be noisy being 3 inch decat.

Have before Nur Spec and really our neighbour has asked if we can park somewhere else,because his doors are shaking and Cobra Race tube,bloody hell this should have more than 120dB and friend have this and if he comes home,you will hear him miles away

I'm using the Cobra 3inch track friendly system but with a RCM downpipe as I believe it's a slightly better design & I'm very happy with it. Fairly subtle but sounds just right when you floor it & doesn't upset the neighbours.

I run a Full 3inch Cobra with resonator and 4 1/2 backbox. Fantastic burble at low revs and sounds like a motorbike higher up the rev range.
Well made and fits like a glove. A lot of scooby enthusiast friends have commented on the exhaust note which video's just don't do justice. Will admit that cabin drone is quite loud but nothing an aftermarket head unit and uprated door speakers didn't solve on long journeys haha.

I have had the original Subaru P1 back box on for the last 12 years on my classic

Mated with a h&S decatted system
Both have been excellent build quality and have bnever had a need to replace them
I think Subaru branded exhausts were built by cobra ?

The revolution system is well tested over the years and used and Recomened by many

Just fitted a cobra true 3" exhaust to a rb320 tt

I find its deep on tick over with a nice burble, dont drive too bad on long journeys, you do get a bit of drone in the car, but when you find that happy place on the loud peddal it really is not that bad, but when the loud pedal hits the floor it sounds lovely imo, still got a bit of depth to it but as like Beefoss has said it sounds like a motorbike when on full chat, you can hear the avcs scrapping through the pipe almost, makes for a wild exhaust note imo, but it is loud when having a bit of fun on full chat

I got a miltek on mine at the moment and can honestly say i don't like it! At the min it has currently split around the welds of the center box both front and back of it, it is showing by far the worst signs of corrosion out of any exhaust i have had fitted to one of my cars for some reason and again the general welds over all are not the best, have seen much better, but if its a quiet exhaust you want then can say this would suit your needs, its like driving my audi quiet wise on a long run, don't get any real bad droning through the cab, and when on full chat its still not excessively loud, can hear the turbo over it, as said tho build quality (on mine at least) is something to be left to the imagination

dunno if its any good to u mate but i have a 3' japspeed cat back that u can have for free just needs a new centre box as i think summot it lose inside it im from near birmingham
