Hmmmmm, it runs cooler? Did you change the thermostat for a different one, since it's the thermostat that sets the engine coolant temperature.
It might cool it down quicker....
Oh, and if it DOES run cooler? Not good: the engine is MEANT to work best at coolant 82-88 degrees. If it's too cool, the mixture will be richer

Didn't change the thermosat.
only going on what the Power FC controller says. used to run at 92 degrees and now runs at 86.
The old rad was in good condition apart from a split in the side tank and the coolent came out nice and clean so the only thing I can put it down to is the new rad. It is a bit thicker so i assume that is why.

Thank you sir.
Sorry I have not been here (or owned a Scooby) long so I don't know what year your car was. If it was a classic I'm sure it will fit.
I see you are in Colchester but due to difficulty in coming up would it be possible to pay extra to post?
Thanks.
Jason.

ok cheers, but if it fits I will make the effort to pick it up. What I really need to know is what year your car was as I still don't know.
Ps if anyone can answer this question I would really appreciate it.
Thanks.
