i went to the classic bike show at Stafford two weeks ago now. GUESS what i bought!!

a 1m long Twisted wire bike 'chain' with double locking pad lock!!
£12.50!
yes £12.50!!!!!

so i've fitted it around the steering wheel 'hoops' and i drop my seats foward and loop it through them as well!!
Plus the Steering weel has TWO (2) Stop Locks on as well!+ Alarm and imobiliser and pager alarm too.
it all takes longer if some **** comes to try and nic the car!

AM I BEING OVER PARANOID?????????

LOOK OUT THE BOGEY MANS BEHIND YOU

Question

Have you thought about just removing the Fuel Pump Fuse?

Nah, when I had my BMW I had a steering Lock and an immobilizer and always locked the steering wheel as well.

Now I just lock the door. My street is pretty calm, which helps.

Exclamation

Phil,

don't forget to drain your fuel tank, and fill the foot-wells with concrete blocks whenever you park your car - just to be careful

Well having just lost my pride and joy to an armed car-jack I would say no amount of security is enough....but perhaps you should save the chain to strangle the b**tards with.

Smile

But with the amount of petrol Phil puts in his car they would only get 5 miles away.

Doesn't stop the ba5tards scatching it though

Did you get it sorted Phil?

Phil...

Its not about being paranoid...

Its peace of mind really isnt it...

You've done your best...

If it gets tea leafed now - you've done all you could. You could spend an absolute fortune and someone will get it if they want it... remember that footballer who got robbed twice... he had a state of the art security sytem... so they got his brother to switch it all off... You cant win!!

Sleep easy bro!!
