£40 off ebay by any chance?
I looked at it myself and tried to research that number but found nothing.

Someone may be able to tell you though.

Thats the one mate, i got intouch with seller before i brought to ask what year and to check it was new, also to check fins were not damaged. He said it was fine and new, so i brought. I dont think its new looks like its had a make up to look new, but if it is a 2004 sti i wil be well happy at £40

That doesn't look like a newage STi intercooler to me.

Freshly sprayed paint over an old one?

Looks like you paid for a WRX one - the picture is an STi one and has more rows of fins.

Get a tape measure out.

This is a Newage WRX IC with STi sprayed on by me. It's smaller in length than the Newage STi by about two inches. The Newage STi IC should foul against the Clutch resevoir. If not then you ben had.

Tbf he might not of known himself, might of been going on the basis that it said STI on it when he bought it.

Nice of him to give you some cash back.

You'll need the undertray to make it worthwhile, not sure if it may need a bit of a modification but your scoop will be fine.

The newage undertray will not fit a Classic properly. Your better off modding the Classic undertray to fit the IC.

Had a look at my standard undertray and not sure what you need to do, the newage intercooler is not that much bigger then the classic one.

If you compare it with a newage undertray you will see that the vent for the turbo on the Classic takes up space. When I get home I'll do some comparison stuff with a modded undertray I have.

Thanks that would be great, if you can post photo even better lol. I been offered a newage vent £30 posted, but not much point if its a pain to make fit. Just not sure what needs doing to my vent .
