hey folks, found this scoob and fell in love with it, even though its a cat d from theft it looks great. does anyone have any info on it? its down on hpi check as blue so i think its had a full colour respray and in the photos you can see the inner wings and slam panel are a dark blue kind of colour.
any info would be great before i travel a 800 mile round journey to see it

Id give it a miss if I was you pal cat d and full respray from blue sounds a bit sus. This sold a few weeks ago on eBay the buyer must have been unhappy with it

i will have to travel about 800 mile round trip to see it too. on the listing it says he has owned the car since december 2011 so not sure if the sale went through or not that your talking about. be a shame if its a no go as it looks stunning but does sound alittle to good to be true. i was told the owner is a member on here

 

Not sure if the sellers a member on here mate and the auction ended but I assume the buyer didt want the car for what ever reason. Could be genuine mate but a 800 mile round trip to be disappointed wouldt be funny. Someone else may know the car on here mate or see if someone who's local could go and view it for you

In terms of the cat D mate I would t be bothered my mate who painted my car does work for Bristol street vardies and a few other top name garages youde be amazed at how many. Cars that are brand new and if declared were cat D's if it was done properly it wouldn't bother me at all but if just stolen recovered 3 years ago it's obviously fine as its still going

looks a nice car, and a decent add also being honest, i'd presume he has receipts for all the work done to it as well.

It's cheap enough and id not be worried about the cat d either as long as its a straight car.
