AWESOME!!!
I was in the RS200, we're doing 130mph down the straight, Richard shifts up into 5th, accelerates, the thing JUMPS several feet to the right, then back to the left, all 4 wheels spinning like f**k, accelerating like a normal car does from standstill!!!!
I was supposed to have a drive in it on Sunday but the track was closed....
one day....
awesome........

Owain,
We can go any time you like mate!
It was a truly awesome trip, and was great to meet up with the RS boys and generally have a laugh. Can't wait to do it again. I'm knackered and back at work now, but who cares!
More to follow when I can gather things together.
Matt

Oi you muppets!!!! I'll get me own back, don't you worry.
Just to add that it was one of the greatest trips, both for driving and sociallly, that I have ever been on. Awesome.
I'm too tired to write too much now, but thanks to everyone that came and made it what it was. Pity we only got one great days driving in, but what a day it was!
We have some amazing footage to go through, including an awesome lap with John and I following each other.
Richard's RS needs to go on a power diet though methinks!!!
Oh, and there is a story behind the canine smooching but I'll let some other logger tell it.

A quality weekend.
I still can't belive it. Or shut up about it.
I've got footage of inside colin's motor, mark's motor, and mike's motor (jeesi creesi) and outside footage of loads of others.
if you mail me details I'll sort out the tapes.
Did someone mention July?

It was nice!
Thanks to Matt 'the ring taxi' Oz for the rides and EU lift, Mully for the UK side plus the loan of his car for 'test drive' round the ring, and any one else who gave me a passenger ride. I probably managed 30 laps in total! Inspiring, entertaining and terrifying!

Ian,
Not your fault when the instructions say "go South East at the fork in the road" but you have no idea whether the towns listed are north or south!
Chris.

what a trip it was...
mike r followed us back to calais. we went quite quick the whole way.
i went in the passenger seat of a 3 year old porsche turbo owned by a local who could realy drive, he knew the circuit like the back of his hand... a dream come true.
ps everyone who went should re-watch the RUF video to see how mad that guy trully was driving so fast...

Well what can I say, it was a fantastic weekend of pure driving pleasure as I was driving other peoples cars and a nice little Audi A3 TDI Hire car
Getting drunk nearly every night was a little more than I planned but hey Stef had to be shown how to drink Tequila from John F and me LOL
I was truly gutted when the 22B let go on the M20 as I thought it was the end before the trip even started, but thanks to all the kind guys and gals on the trip I was offered plenty of Scoobies to drive of which I couldn't refuse (Many Thanks again Lads).
The 22B should be back on the road soon as soon as it goes under the knife and will be back fighting fitter than ever!
Driving an Audi TDI around the Ring was so much fun as ive never treated a hire car like that before held up quite well when driving it past its own limits
I have to say that the crowd of Scooby/Cossy followers that went were truly excellent, I had lots of questions from people when the next one is and here are the Preliminary dates (29th June - 2nd July Fri-Mon) 2 more full days on track and its in the Summer
Hope theres gonna be a following of Ringers after this trip

Si - not a problem - you obviously chose me for my vast experience of driving round the Ring
Cheers
