Hello from across the pond!
Hi folks,
Just wanted to say a quick hello. Signed up yesterday after my amazing wife arrived back in a 03 Blobeye WRX Turbo! I'd seen it last Thursday, the usually story of never having one and always wanting one. Talked myself out of getting it for some reason, little did I know she went on Friday and booked it!
I'm over in Northern Ireland and can see all the Scottish members on a good day, even the Isle of Man.
The car's in great nick, with 85,000 on it. Had to be blue and gold wheels. Never had anything like it before, usually a VW family, beetles, bora's, mk3 Gti, and wife currently drives a Touareg. But can safely say after less than 24 hours I won't be looking back!
I always use forums and this looks heads and shoulders above the rest. I'll look forward to picking some brains in the days and weeks to come.
On a quick note, there was a few things I wanted to check, sorry if they should be in other sections but it's more advice I'm after. Can anyone recommend some of the following:
* Want to put my single din Bluetooth stereo in, apart from keeping an eye here is there anywhere you recommend to get the under pocket?
* The wheels nuts have seen better days so would like to replace these. Again any recommendations for some, I've seen tuner type ones but have no experience of them?
* finally the rear has rally mud flaps but the front are lying in the boot with no bracket, does anywhere just sell the bracket?
No doubt I'll think of more question! Will wait for some sun too and get a few pictures up.
Many thanks
Chris

36 views and no welcomes, shameful Welcome to Snet Chris
As far as nuts go, avoid the alloy ones apparently, people don`t rate them at all. We just had a group buy on some Muteki ones, nice quality...even though one or two weren`t happy with them https://www.scoobynet.com/group-buys...able-also.html
Have you tried eBay for the pocket thingy?
