Default Prosport Gauges & Pioneer AVIC-F940BT fitted

Got my Prosport gauges fitted along with my Pioneer 940 BT sat nav head unit.
I am made up with them, except I messed up down loading my free speed camera locations for the Pioneer.
I managed to get the permanent cameras for free, but when I try to download the mobile sites, it keeps requesting payment.
It lookes as though I am going to have to pay up, but before I do I wonder if anybody else has had the same issue.
When I am sorted I will get some pics up.

Should have bought the ken wood!

I could give you access to a daily updated speed camera Db that's simple to upload!

when i put my pioneer unit in, you download the stuff onto an sd card using the poi base software.
im sure there is a tech support link somewhere, if not ring pioneer.

Just received an answer from POI support to my query, and they have stated that the free download is for fixed cameras only.
This does not seam correct to me, so I will now contact Pioneer, as tubbytommy suggest.

Thanks tubbytommy for your reply, yes I see what your saying, its just that the Talex unit I had before flagged up the mobile sites aswell, along with blackspots ect., and
I found this a useful reminder that I should check my speed.

is this available as a download???
im not sure if you can get this on these sort of units as surely it requires a frequent update and the only way we can update our units is via sd card.
unless it uses the tmc thing that updates roadworks etc..

its a great unit though, very pleased with mine.
the speed camera thing doesnt seem to give much warning, im not sure if you can get it to beep earlier

The mobile sites cost about £25 on the POI site to download to your sd card, but that should give you 12 months to update it as you require.
I am really made up with mine too, and the warning seems about the same as my old Talex unit.
I have the customising preferences set more or less as I want them now, and I have used one of the Splash Screen images that come with the unit, but I would like to download my sd card with other images and use one of them, perhaps the "Sti" sign or somthing.
