Default whistling noise

i have just finished fitting my fmic.
all back together so i have taken it for a quick drive to check for noises/issues prior to map tweak.

it drives fine and boosts fine and reaches full boost.

but when the turbo is spooling up it makes a small whistling noise, now im not sure if this is the induction kit in the wing.

anyone got any ideas and do the induction kits make a noise?

I have an inner wing kit and it makes a big sucking noise, not whistling as such. Maybe different noises for different makes though?

I think it is the induction kit, it's just a different noise

If you had the original airbox fitted prior to fitting the FMIC I'd put my money on the induction kit, Has a bit more growl to it and with no airbox the turbo will be heard a lot more spooling up.

You will come to enjoy that noise

I think it is that, it's boosting fully so it's not leaking

you'll hear a aignificant amount more noise with a CAIK and FMIC through the pipework Dan, especially as you're Twin Scroll. You should be hearing a lot more noise from 2000rpm onwards and DV noise should be a lot louder
