Default Need help sourcing a P1 exhaust please

Hi guys a friend of mine has a bog standard 44,000 Mile P1 that he's had for ten years and the exhaust centre sction by the cat is rusty and holed.

He doesn't want to fit a stainless etc, only a genuine Subaru part but they was £550 + vat

Does anyone have any other suggestions that I can put forward to him?

Many thanks

I can only suggest he tries a breakers to see if they have anything, or contacts Prodrive - however I'm pretty sure they got rid of all Subaru stock some time ago.

But even if Prodrive have stock, it'll be similarly priced to what Subaru have quoted.

My friend is currently stripping down his classic which has a factory P1 backbox and centre section, with the P1 embossed backbox. He would be looking to sell as a centre centre and backbox exhaust, would he be interested? If so pm me

email sent (although it looks like the Paul above may have the solution).

To back up what Avery P2 says - I used to have the P1 embossed backbox as well which was a genuine prodrive/ subaru upgrade which was a very well made back box and was a nice step up from the standard - a deeper woofle but not at all instrusive.

Hi Avery, more importantly than the back box is the centre section, have you got a picture and general condition please?

Also location?

Thanks
