Default What would I get as a car? Or break?

2002 Subaru wrx bugeye 08v blue/black
Seriously considering selling up question is would i get more to break or sell as whole? This is the mods After buying the car completely standard in 2010. Mileage is 113k although regularly serviced and oil changes carried out. Cambelt done at around 110k. New pink box excedy clutch and lightend flywheel less then 1500 mile ago. Seriously looked after as I take great care and pride in this car.

Exterior

Bc fully adjustable coilovers
Genuine Sti bonnet scoop
Genuine Sti fog covers
Genuine jdm front grill
Jdm hid head lights
Sti carbon side markers
Smoked indicators
Front splitter
Sickspeed pink Homs
Genuine hawkeye roof spoiler
Genuine Sti spoiler
Tints all round
Jdm folding mirrors
Sti mudflaps
Colour coded skirts
Grooved and drilled discs
Mintex pads
18" inovit tarmacs with x4 pierelli tyres
Genuine jdm wind deflectors

Interior

Sti 7 jdm seats and doorcards
Hks turbo timer
Defi boost oil pres and temp
Knock link built in pod
Sti 8 steering wheel
Sti gear gator

Engine

Blue coolant hoses
Genuine Sti strut brace
Brand new radiator

Remapped by Andy Carr
H&S decat up pipe slip jointed
H&S decat down pipe
Blitz Nur spec R cat back
Green cotton panel filter
Hrc255 fuel pump
3 port boost solenoid

Probably missed some bits but you get the idea so what do you think? Ideally I'd hate to break as I know how much time and effort I've put into this although I know I probably wouldt get a buyer who would give me what I want

Your thoughts?

Martin

Cheers mate I know it'll kill me but then I don't think I could accept silly money for it either given the mods and time it's took. Another route could be a engine up grade change the 5 speed box to a 6 and more power although I'd be throwing even more money at it lol

Agree it would be such a shame to break. If you still have all the standard parts, the easy swop over stuff, wheels, suspension, exhaust, interior etc. You would make more money selling it as a standard car and selling all the uorated stuff separate, including the defi's etc there looks like a good few grand in parts.

That's an idea didt keep much of the standard parts but sure most could be picked up pretty cheap anyway. Thanks for your advice

dont break it fella, you have put so much work to get it looking like that and its a credit to your modding taste.

rather than break it maybe fit an sti gearbox and engine and carry on with the mods.

the car is far too good to break

Appreciate the comments guys. Tommy having a serious think and after seeing jeffs widetrack blob it got me thinking. To drop the Sti gear box and engine will be a few grand yet I'd prob get close to 5k for breaking the bug then would cost me a couple of grand to find myself a clean blob Sti maybe. Mrs is talking me out of it lol she don't want the hassle haha

Cheers

jeffs car does look great, but its a shame to break your bug after the work you have done to it.

yes i agree, i think you would be lucky to see that, the reason people break the newage stis is because the gearbox, brembos and engines are worth a fair bit, you dont have these so your just selling body parts really, which arent worth as much.

its hard to say once you sell the exhaust, defis, coilovers and interior and possibly the front bumper and spoiler the rest isnt really sought after.

Suppose I could just advertise it in the for sale section for 4.5k see what interest I get 😉 done a rough pricing on parts if it was to be broke maybe a little pricey see what you think

it does look really good but the mileage may be against you a bit,i think 4.5k is a little high, 3.5k would be nearer the mark.

its sad but thats the going rate nowadays

Lol I'm Un decided yet mate but this is generally speaking if the car was to be broke. Not added parts like the bumpers doors bonnet boot etc etc so could be more really.
