Re-building AP calipers
I have a set of 4 pot AP Racing CP6600 calipers and need to replace one or two of the dust seals so thought i would give them a full overhaul and repaint them too while im at it. I also need to replace the stickers too after re-painting so i would need a set of them too. If anyone could recommend a reliable source for seal kit and stickers or traders on here i can get them from, let me know!

rather than open a similar thread about same issue, i thought i would bump this one. so the wear plates on my calipers have some build up behind them and are gripping the pad causing it not to be able to move freely, resulting in glazing over the rear of the disc and squealing like crazy at low speed. So i need to refurb these when i can. Whats the minimum thickness you can have on these 2 piece discs, i would rather skim them if i could. If not, what are my other options for replacement discs? I know you can just replace the disc part and re-use the bells, but is there any other single piece options or other 2 piece discs i could use?, ill need new pads to go with all this aswell asn the bluestuff NDX dont have much life left in them

To recondition these calipers we charge £100 each plus any parts that might be needed.
Disc wise , there isn't a one piece standard disc that will suit , so you will have to stick with the 2 piece discs and bells , if there is enough disc thickness they can be skimmed , if they are work or rusted too much then they would need replacing. your minimum thickness depends on how thick they were to start with , generally you have 1mm either side of the disc when they are new before they are classed as worn
Hope this helps

Whats the turn around time for the recondition Ian, as obviously my car would be off the road, if i sent them over to you and im over in Ireland too which doesn't help. Mine do actually have yellow sticker logo's on them, but i already have replacement ones for them.
From what i can see they need new dust seals and wear plates and obviously repainting, and i think i have more than 1mm of wear on the discs at this stage and also new pads. Whats the recommended pads these days for fast road use that could take the odd track day too?
