Default Defi controller in place of cup holder on newage. Pics?

Guys who's done this mod currently have mine in the centre storage cubby but would like to move it in place of the cup holder. Done a search although no description on how to do this so post up pics and a how to guide would be great.

Cheers

Had a crack at it mate. Had to hack away at the plastic trim which holds the cup holder. Not quite finished yet still need to cut the side pieces of the cup holder to put either side of the controller

Fair play, did you remove the cup holder, chop both ends of, fit controller in place then going to glue the chopped ends either side if the controller?

Yes mate that's pretty much it when chopping the ends do a little at a time as I kept some to keep the controller in place. Havnt put the ends on yet as can't work out which way to put them on as once cut there's no going back. Seen quite a few people have done this just not sure what to glue the ends to

I thought that aswell tommy but most people who did this used the cup holder space I'm not sure if it fits in the other space and if I remember right it's the other trim that clips the vent unit in place so didt want to chop that

Mine's mounted in the glove box, and in my old car was in the central box thing between the seats. I think in place of the cup holder they look horrid

You could put the outer pieces in place with a blob of silicone behind them, support them with masking tape until the silicone goes off.

Then they are in, but will pull out if/when you need them to.

It's how my pod is fastened down. Invisible too.
