400 bhp Hawk-bug eye STi.
I purchased this car a few months back from a member of ScoobyNet, in order to keep my hand in the Subaru world so to speak, but since decided that it's no longer my cup of tea.
The car is a 2002 bugeye prodrive, with a hawkeye front end.
It is in great condition, and the conversion was only carried out this year by the previous owner so there are very few, if any, stonechips.
The previous owner has spent a small fortune on the car prior to selling it, and all the parts fitted are as new.
I have also added a few items myself since purchasing it.
The car:
2002 Prodrive STi.
62,000 miles (ish) I have replaced the clocks with JDM items which now show 35,000 miles
Hawkeye front end, using all genuine parts.
Hawkeye rear bumper, lights and arch extensions.
Genuine upper rear spoiler.
Excellent bodywork for its age, with no shopping trolley dents, and only a few minor scuffs here and there. ( not worth bothering with, just being honest)
All Hawkeye parts were professionaly painted and fitted by a ferrari approved garage, the full conversion cost the previous owner over 3k alone.
ENGINE:
Standard 2.0 STi motor, 62, 000 miles. Runs sweet as a nut. No oil or water usage, nice and quiet.
MD312T turbo, Ceramic coated, 78mm inlet.
Apexi induction kit (fitted in inner wing)
Lateral Performance 78 mm silcone intake pipe
Silicone radiator hoses
Roger Clark tubular headers. (heat wrapped)
Harvey smith slip-joint, hgh velocity up pipe. (heat wrapped)
Lateral performance match flowed 850cc injectors
Walbro fuel pump.
3" Revolution exhaust system.
Was originally mapped by Andy Forrest at 424bhp / 406 lbft. Now running mafless with 2 stage boost set up. Mapped by Andy Carr. Extremely smooth to drive, and performs effortlessly.
CHASSIS:
Tein superstreet coilovers (fully adjustable)
Eibach rear camber bolts
Fast road geometry setup
Rota gra 18" wheels, with goodyear eagle tyres all round
Standard brembos with ebc slotted discs and ebc yellow stuff pads all round. 3 months old.
INTERIOR:
Standard 2002 seats, which are far superior than the hawk items, in excellent condition. No rips / wear or *** burns.
Professionally tinted windows all round.
I have added the following which were out of my previous car:
JDM sweep style speedo cluster, showing 35,000 miles.
Defi gauges ( Ex temp, Oil pressure, Boost) in custom centre pod
Hawkeye centre console conversion.
Kenwood Double din head unit, Sat nav, DVD, etc...
Sparco leather/ suede steering wheel with correct boss that cancels the indicators.
Headlining and pillars all trimmmed in Alcantara suede.
All in all this is a great car with the good looks of the hawkeye, along with the reliability of the trusty 2.0 engine, and over 400bhp to boot, Not to mention the cheaper tax bracket.
The car is now on it's original 2002 number plate.
Some pics are from when I originally bought it, and the interior pics are of my previous car.
Offers around £8,000.00.
I will advertise it for a few months before I break it. The car is a great peice of kit and would be a real shame to break it.
Interested in any part ex, not Subaru. Diesel estate car, small van, people carrier etc...

I bought this with the funds recovered from my white car, but I now no longer need a Subaru in my life.
Using the money to scratch my karting motorsport itch.
No worries. If you want the front end for definate let me know and we'll sort something out.

Will do Neil at the minute I think I'm going to throw money at a 6 speed conversion 1st although I love the front end so maybe if it doesn't sell I may still take it although if you break I'll take rear bumper, arches and side skirts 😉
Cheers

Shame to break such a nice looking example. Unfortunately I am waiting for feedback from insurers an you will probably have started to do so before I find out anything from them.
